About the Show:
“Tommy Albright and Jeff Douglas from New York in 1946 are hunting on vacation in the Sottish Highlands and get lost on their first night out. In the distance they hear eerie music from a nearby Scottish Highland village of Brigadoon, which only appears for one day every 100 years. When Tommy meets and falls in love with Fiona, a beautiful villager in this magical hamlet, he must decide whether to return to his old life or stay in Brigadoon — forever.” -MTI Website
There are a lot of other fun characters the dairymaid Meg Brockie who instantly takes a shine to Jeff. Jean (Fiona’s younger sister) and Charlie who’s wedding the village is preparing for that evening. Harry Beaton who is heartbroken over Jean’s wedding and tries to leave Brigadoon. There are also sever minor roles with many venders in the village, the school master, and 1940’s characters. This is a dance heavy show with folk dance, highland dance, tap/ballet solos, and a dancing chorus of lads and lasses.
