10:45-11:30: “How to get your organization involved in Climate Change work!”
Presenter Bob Miller (co-leader, Justice Team, United Universalist Community of the Mountains) shares his experiences, observations and learnings from leading a year-long Climate Change project for the UUCM, a regional faith organization.
11:45-12:30: “Meat-free cooking for the whole family – all ages welcome!”
Join this upbeat, fun and possibly messy class in the kitchen in the MPR. Led by Suzanne Calhoun (Pastor, Sierra Pines UMC)
12:45-1:45: “The Science of Climate Change”
Led by Bob Bramston (Climate Educator, who has completed the Climate Reality Project Training by Al Gore, coursework on The Science and Global Impact by Dr. Michael E. Mann, and is a member of the Climate Advocacy Lab, an organization that promotes evidence-based education on climate and clean Energy.)
2:00-3:00: “The EnRoad Simulator – Come Role Play Climate Issues and Solutions – all ages welcome!”
The EnRoad Simulator Program was developed by MIT to show what different solutions could be to lower our carbon footprint. Led by Laurie Seagal (Climate Educator).
